We went there for a special occasion. Both couples were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We sat outside in the patio area. Romantic. Terrific ambiance. The service was excellent. The pork on pork was to "die for". The Mahi fish tacos were delicious. I had the steak strips that were cooked exactly like I had requested. The prices are high but... More

We had a great romantic dinner here over the weekend. The table side guac was made to your specification (my husband hates cilantro, so they happily left that out). We ended up ordering some tacos (warned to be very small portions), but so many of the sides were irresistible we had to order them too!! The corn (off the cob)... More

We discovered this restaurant because of Tripadvisor, and visited Sunday night for a late Mother's Day celebration. Anyone traveling anywhere near the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, heck anyone traveling through Arizona, should make a stop at this wonderful Latin restaurant. The imaginative food is all expertly prepared and well-presented. There are so many different drinks to choose from that one would need... More

We ate outside for dinner with friends on a recent visit. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful - such a great atmosphere - but too loud for me. I felt like we wouldn't have been able to talk at all without shouting. The outdoor patio was nice as well though. The standout dish for all of us was the... More

The Mission is true fine dining, so prices are a bit high but not unreasonable, and the food is delicious, inventive, and the presentations lovely. Portions are appropriate. The duck confit and the hanger steak were both excellent and expertly prepared, and the poblano grits superb.

Inside decor is very funky, not what it looks like on the outside. Felt like I was in Manhattan instead of scottsdale. Arrived with no reservation on a saturday night and had to eat at the bar. Drinks were yummy and food was pretty good, with a couple of clunkers. Slightly overpriced but overall a nice place to check out.

The crispy pork lettuce wrap was amazing! It was sweet & salty and crispy & moist. Not sure how they do it, but when we go back to Scottdale, I will come back for this great appetizer. We also had the pork shoulder with the mini tortillas that come on a warm salt block. Cool concept, the execution wasn't as... More

First visit to the Mission, but it won't be the last. The food was great and the service was awesome. I highly recommend this place as often as you can make it.

We loved the food at the Mission, and the interior is very cool! We ate outside which is also quite nice, but as soon as the food arrived, we were swarmed by flies. Hopefully this was just a temporary issue for the Mission.

Excellent centrally located Scottsdale standard bearer---it lives up to its rep both for food and service, and the cost thereof. If you want to samole vintage Scottsdale, this is it. great atmosphere, location, food, service. Costly, but worth it.
