Boring menu. Basic food. Sticky table top. Only eat there because we were disparate. Waitress very friendly.

Pros: I've been here a couple of times now. The steak to me was awesome. No need for a steak sauce. It was med-rare, exactly how I asked for it. On my second visit I had chicken and ribs. The ribs were ok. The BBQ sauce was delish. The waitress & waiter I had were very polite. Cons: it is... More

I enjoyed Daisy Mae's Stronghold. I ate there twice, the first time I had chicken which was very tasty and came with salad, potatoe, beans and toast. A little pricey, but not bad. The second time i had steak. My steak was cooked properly, however, i found it a little tough. Overall, I really liked the rustic look, as a... More

We've been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years. Limited menu but we go there for the great steaks (especially the filet) and good ribs. Love the beans but definitely not for vegetarians. Local atmosphere...the oldest building in Sierra Vista. Wonderful serving staff.

We had been a couple times a my husband liked the steak, i was not a fan of any of the food. Steaks are not good quality and never cooked the way you ask for them, Texas toast tasted like the bread was frozen thawed then buttered with Crisco, beans where bland with chunks of uncooked fat, and my sides... The food was wonderful, awesome cut of meat - cooked just right (med rare) - friendly staff all for a very good price. Will visit this restaurant again and recommend it to my friends. And it's the most historic building in Sierra Vista, an interesting atmosphere.

They fall off the bone; great sauce and plenty of meat on the bones. My husband had the rib eye which was knife-tender and cooked perfectly. A must if you are in Sierra Vista.

I stop here whenever I'm in the area because the food is sooo good. I usually get the rib eye or a fillet, both are excellent! I would also recommend the ribs - they are so tender they just fall off the bone. The atmosphere is casual and very clean. The staff is friendly, attentive and always make us feel... More

Ate here with a large crowd. Service was excellent. Typical steakhouse fare, plain house salad, baked potato and beans. But most important, the ribeye was perfect, juicy and tender. If that's what you are looking for this is the place!

service was terrible, waited over 15 minutes for order to be taken, never refilled glasses. Used the restroom before I left, mice droppings and dead cockroaches.....if I had used it first I never would have eaten there. Daisy Mae's is now our code word for "no way, let's leave"
