Too bad they had to close due to problems with the building. Everyone hopes Art and Linda will start another restaurant. They'll be missed!
A great little restaurant that has closed. Art and Linda were forced to close due to problems with the landlord. Every venue that opens in this location has landlord problems and closed within 6 months. Art and Linda have had the BEST restaurants in Sonoita, so if they open another one, we'll be back.
June 11, 2013 - Could find no trace of this restaurant. Inquired at the Sonoita Mercantile/Gas Station and were told that the restaurant no longer exists. Are there no restaurants open for lunch in Sonoita???!!!
After a day of wine-tasting in Sonoita, we were craving real food (besides cheese and crackers) and Santa Rita's fit the bill perfectly. Casual enough for the little girls in our party, we instantly felt at home here. The ribs were amazing and tender, the ribeye was delicious and the girls love their teriyaki chicken sandwich. Good beans, salsa and... More
A great addition to the limited Sonoita dining scene. Great food with good sized portions at a great price. Owners and staff very friendly.
Happened upon the soft opening on second day of operation. The food and service are excellent. As I have a food allergy, I always ask questions about the ingredients. Both the wait staff and owners were very knowledgable and helpful. The portions are more than ample, everything was very fresh. Next time I'll leave room for their homemade desserts!
