Awesome concept, great flavors and cozy atmosphere. Definitely give it a try if you're in the mood for some comfort food!
Definitely a young adult place. If you are under 35 you may like this place with the extremely loud music that you can't hardly hear your partner talk even after you ask that the music (?) be turned down. Otherwise the meal was very good if you are into pasties. So many varieties. I had the traditional or Oggie, having... More
amazing, hole in the wall, local spot. Never tried a pasty, aren't sure? Well TRY IT! The place is tiny, literally a walkway of tin high tops and a bar running along the whole other side. Don't expect to be dining like royalty, but expect to eat like it. Get it to go, or with a frothy specialty draft beer.... More
Sometimes you hit the jackpot. With 6 hours to kill before our flight out of PHX we found this place for an early dinner. Cornish Pasty hits all marks. Atmosphere (dark and cozy pub feel), service (super friendly and personable), and food (Pepper Steak pasty.... good lord). The only advice I'd cynically give them is to raise their prices...
Found this place on Trip Advisor! This place does a tremendous business, because this food is awesome! Pasties... More
Pasties are very unique, and other than a small shop back home, I haven't ever seen another shop. So we had to try this place. It is pretty dark inside, felt more like a bar, so we sat outside. Very interesting local clientele. But we are here for the pasties, and they defnitely deliver! Probably more than 25 different pasties... More
It's so nice to come across a different type of restaurant that is unique and interesting. Read the information posted on their website to learn all about the history of pastis from Cornwall (southwest England). With the price of most entrees under $10, you get a very delicious and economical meal with a portion size that should satisfy most appetites.... More
The Chicken Tikka in the pasty tasted better than any Indian restaurant serving Chicken tikka masala in the valley.. And don't miss the bread pudding.. :)
The new location in Mesa is nicer though they always seem to be out of the specials or which ever beer you happen to want- the original in Tempe is so much bigger now it makes you want to hangout longer and drink with friends whereas before I would feel like I needed to hurry and eat cause I was...
