We were in Tubac for a few days and discovered De Anza Restaurant which has the best margarita's in town, after trying Elvira's which is over priced and over rated, De Anza was a great find. We had the guacamole which was made by the owner / bartender and it was excellent. We also had the chili rellenos and all... More

Went with family, party of 6, while visiting for a wedding. Service was terribel-waitress was rude and slow. Food was mediocre at best and THREE orders were initially wrong. Left NO tip. I sure she wann't happy, but it was exactly what she deserved. SEVERAL other restaurants in the area where you can enjoy an excellent meal / service /... More

My husband and I had lunch here a few weekends ago while shopping in Tubac and we will never eat here again! We were one of the first customers to arrive that day, so they could not have been busy. But we almost left because we didn't think we were going to be noticed by the staff, who we could... More

The atmosphere reeks of Mexico!!Leather and cane chairs for dining,Mexican saltillo tiled floors , Great Margaritas, tasty Taco salads, chimis, and good chips ---not greasy, with a salsa that has just the right bite.

Two years ago we had a great time, super Margaretas, good guacamole . We were so disappointed this visit...lousy margaritas, tasteless guacamole, fish tacos that were questionable?? Only positive was for the enthusiasm and friendliness of bartender gal. Must have changed owners

My sister and I were there at a very quiet time, got seated and placed orders quickly and were served fast, too. Our soups (queso and abondiga) were delicious -- simple and homemade -- and our chilies rellenos were excellent, but she ordered a steak with hers and that was awful. They gave us free dessert to make up for... More

We went for a lunch last year and found it tolerable at best, but gave it another go on a return visit to Tubac... mostly because many restaurants are closed on Sunday in Tubac and this place was open. Cadillac Margarita was something more along the lines of a VW. No detectable tequila and heavy on the sweet & sour.... More

Great Margaritas! My husband tried to order 2 different Mexican beers, which they did not have but after tasting my Margarita he liked it so well he ordered one & was very pleased. We had beef tacos and found them to be "good". A bit disappointed in tortilla chips, maybe not made in house?

Our stay inTubac included two great dinners at De Anza Cantina. The house marguaritas were the best, the Mexican food served equally as good. We found the waitstaff very friendly and helpful, along with the owner, Marcos, recalling the old days of growing up hard in the area. He has a great selection of saddles offered and his local knowledge... More

We have had very poor dinning experiences here in the past but my wife and I went again since they were hosting the Tubac Chamber of Commerce mixer. What a eye opener. We asked for ice water and sat at a small table by our selves on the patio where other chamber members were enjoying appetizers etc. After being passed... More
