Mud St. Cafe really fits Eureka Springs: arty, eclectic, a bit of an attitude, and you have to be going there to get there. It's down in the basement, down a long flight of stairs, and a really fun and friendly place, once you get down there. We were there at lunchtime, and they had a good, full menu of... More

WOW! What a breakfast! Had Mexican Omelet and it was fabulous. Jennifer Cross, manager, talked us into their muffins. Glad she did! Numerous kinds of fresh coffee that really hit the spot. Will never eat breakfast anyplace else in Eureka Springs!!

The reviews say the best breakfast in Arkansas. If so, that doesn't speak so well for Arkansas. Nothing really special about the food, although the wait staff was really good, both times we were there. The idea of eating in the basement doesn't much appeal for breakfast, but they've done a nice job making the dark appealing.

This is the best place to get coffee, lunch or breakfast...just get there early, because everyone else knows it too and there is a line. The owners are fantastic!!!

The cafe is underground and reminds me of a 1920's speakeasy. There is a full bar and lots of seating. The food is eclectic and delicious.

Best coffees and teas. Fabulous sandwiches and soup. The pie didn't hold its shape but it didn't stop us from eating it. Very relaxed staff and dining room. With delicious drinks and trivia cards on the tables, we were very reluctant to leave. This place is a must after walking downtown all day. Enjoy!

We always eat breakfast here at least once when we are in town. My favorite is the spinach and mushroom omelette with cheesy grits. These are the best grits I've ever had and even if you're not a fan of grits you really should try them. Even when this place is packed we never have to wait more than 5-10... More

But, the breakfast is very good. We have eaten there a couple times and have not been disappointed. The Mexican Omelet is fantastic! It has no meat in it but does have pinto beans, cheese, peppers, onions - different and flavorful. I also like that they make their omelets with only 2 eggs instead of the normal 3 that I... More

My wife, daughter, and I make Mud Street Cafe a must stop when we come into Eureka Springs as well as when we leave. The "basement" atmosphere is very comfy and calming. Breakfast is out of this world--especially the thick bacon and wonderful potatoes. Of course the coffee bar has something for everyone (you can forget Starbucks). And, no doubt,... More

Great little cafe tucked in the basement of an old building on Main street. I have only been for breakfast a couple of times, but I was impressed both times. The food was great, flavorful thick bacon and potatoes. The best attribute is definitely their coffee bar. $2.50 for endless coffee cup that you self serve with 4 different types of... More
