English menu, English staff. Great choice of food, specials are exdellent - you must try the Steak & Guiness Pie. Offers a good choice on the menu, roast dinner from 7.95 euros, very yummy. Beer is a bit pricey as is the wine, but the wine is good. Its a really clean place with a nice atmosphere.

The colonial is okay. The food was nice and very tasty and they do have a range of daily specials. What let's the colonial down is the service, irritatingly slow simply because they are understaffed. This needs addressing asap as it wasn't particularly busy and we waited ages.

Had to watch the England match so decided to eat at the Colonial bar at the same time. We had the meal of the day - fish, chips and mushy peas- and were suprised at how good it was. Service was OK but they could have done with more staff. Ended the evening with a singer who got us all... More

heard how friendly and welcoming this bar was..WRONG.....only went for drinks but never felt so unwelcome......doesnt cost nothing to acknowledge your customers especially when they are speaking to you and show a bit of interest, instead of giving all your attention to customers sat at the bar probably regulars !....so obviously due to the coldness of the guy behind the bar... Great bar that is not English owned but has mainly English serving staff. Good food, good beer and some nice wines and if you like to sit and watch the football on a nice sunny afternoon or evening you won't find a much better place to do so.

We went to Tenerife last year and lived in this place - the food was really good value and quite tasty. We raved about it being really clean and child friendly (it was the only place I could get my daughter to sit in her high chair and baby changing facilities remain some of the best that I have seen... This is in a nice location right by Fanabe beach. The service was good and the prices were very reasonable. There are several televisions with different programmes showing but the volume is not turned fully up as in some bars where you cannot even think because of the noise!

Good food. Good value. Not your usual cheesy British bar, more upper-class!! This place saved us from our awful, all inclusive food!

This is a good bar for food, watching sport or just to have a drink. I went along on the Saturday afternoon to watch live football (good quality TV’s), My wife and I also had a meal in the Colonial one night, our steaks were done perfect. The staff are very friendly and the bar itself is comfortable and clean.
