The Mayflower was recommended as the best value and good quality restaurant by a local pub owner so that was good enough for us. There is a large Brewer's Fayre menu with some daily specials. I had the fish pie which had collapsed after over microwaving but my wife had the fish and chips which was top notch. Service is... More

We enjoyed a late lunch here during a short stay prior to traveling on the Hook of Holland ferry. The premises are clean and inviting - superior to our expectations of a "motel" restaurant. The menu featured a wide range of choices, enough to satisfy my vegetarian spouse and myself as well. The server was cheerful and efficient, and we... More

We go for lunch occasionally, but 8 of us oldies go once a month, get in before 6.30 and attack the 2 for £10 menu. They re extremely friendly, we've even taken birtday cakes with us and they supplied plates and forks etc. At Halloween 4 grannies dressed up as witches and were accepted as normal customers.

Located very close to Harwich harbour and part of Premier Inn. Not a bad restaurant with a good choice of food. You also have access to FREE WI-FI too. This is our 2nd time at the Premier Inn in Harwich but the first time we used the Mayflower for a proper meal out. For a Friday night is was fairly... More

Liked the good choice of meals - something to suit most tastes - and all very reasonably priced.
