Excellent food, very helpful staff in a lovely setting. Do try the rum sour.. One of the waiters changed money, found us a taxi, tours etc. Well worth a visit and very cheap

Right near Tharabar Gate, this hotel has the kind of atmosphere one goes to SE Asia to experience. A nice selection of veggie options. The hotel's motto is "Be kind to animals - and don't eat them!"

We ate one evening at the Moon. The food was good but certainly not as nice as described in some of the reviews. We had a curry which lacked flavour. The brown rice was nice. On the positive side it has a nice atmosphere and the staff was very welcoming.

The place is fairly anonymous but the food is great. During the hot season, a bit hot as it is an open restaurant. But well worth going for a meal
