Khrua is in a double fronted shop house in the old part of the town. One half is a bar and the other a restaurant with live sport on the TV. The decore is eclectic and has a slightly worn look. The place generally is appealing but a little grubby. The menu is huge, in fact far too big to... More

Excellent service, nice vibes, highly knowledgeable people who speak excellent English and the food is great. A good place where to stop, read, eat and have a drink while reviewing travel plans.

This place had a great selection of food on the menu. Everything from big breakfasts to extensive Thai food. The prices are quite cheap and also had a good selection of beers.

OK, I'll admit that this was the first square meal in about a week of tramping about hills - and also the first that didn't have rice as compulsory - which probably colours my view, but Dave's was really good. Massive menu, almost as massive portions, I ain't gonna complain about that. Was very good and will certainly swing through... More

The place in conveniently located in the centre of town and seem to be the place to go for a fix of farang food. We only had breakfast here and it was possibly the biggest breakfast menu I've ever seen. It seemed expensive but the servings were huge. The food was quite ok, pancakes were fine and filling but my... More

I only had the breakfasts as I am suspicious about anybody who cooks Mexican food outside of Mexico, but the b'fasts were tasty and enormous. Lots of white skin and white hair on the patrons reflecting the expat nature of the place. Free WiFi.

I tried Canadian Dave's after reading some of the reviews that they had good burgers unfortunately I was disappointed. The beef patty had no seasoning it was just beef mince shaped into a circle. The garlic cheese fries were soggy and the garlic was the pre-dried variety. Their strawberry frozen blend was the best part about the meal. I would... More

This restaurant has been here a long time, and is known locally as Canadian Dave's. It's somewhat of a landmark. When I eat out I look for a connection, something I can smile about and take home with me. It may or may not be the food, just something that makes me say "I want to return here " While... More

The food here is crap. It was the worst food that i feel i have ever had to pay for. The upside was they have free wi fi and if you are into sport have tv's showing events. Although it is hard to find english menues in mae sot there are other options that would trump this place. Never again!
