My husband and I ate dinner on Monday night at Barolo without expectations of what the food would be like.... it's a nice little restaurant, bistro style with a happy hour bar as well right on main street. We had a really great meal, my husband ordered a steak salad which came on a pizza crust or flat bread on... More

There is absolutely nothing wrong about eating at this place. The food is good and the staff is real nice. Much more important, they know about the dishes that are served. As I stated before, the food is good, but not excellent. Therefore only "4 stars", but don't hesitate to visit the place.

Dinner on May 3rd, we sat outside (very loud inside), no reservations but were seated immediately. Great meal, delcous salads, excellent swordfish entree, very good wine list and good service.

menu items were unusual, but the flavors really worked together. pizza with potatoes and eggs, unusual, but tasty. beet salad was excellent, carbonara was also good, but the portion of this was just too small!

We had a good meal here. Out waitress was very helpful and we enjoyed their house wine, Tractor Red, which was much more reasonable than most of the local wines.

We stopped by lateish on a Saturday night. In light of the fact that I was in serious mourning for the departed Catahoula restaurant and the sazeracs they used to serve, this place happily and vastly exceeded my expectations. The pizza with arugula and mushrooms was amazing. Just the way you like it with a thin crust and lots of... More

Chicken Piccata was amazing! Great service - offered help on wine selection, etc. Locals dine here often.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink to check this place out on our way to dinner and ended up staying because the staff and ambiance were so nice. The service was great, and the food perfectly prepared and delicious.
