My wife and I were looking for a restaurant in Carmel to have lunch. We happened upon Patisserie Boissiere and asked some diners leaving the restaurant for their recommendation. They said it was very good so we decided to dine there. We found the food to be excellent, perfectly prepared and served hot. The staff was very friendly and attentive... More

Nicely situated at the Mission Street side of Carmel Plaza, this charming little restaurant was a great find for our first evening in Carmel. The gorgeous array of baked goods in the glass case as you walk in was a portent of good things to come. This is delicious French country fare, with an emphasis on great ingredients simply presented... More

Gosh, you could be in Paris... Highly recommend the Onion soup and Boeuf Bourgogne... Excellent wines, especially the reds... And being a patisseries, desserts to die for Somewhat on the expensive side, but heck this is Carmel, so what do you expect. Right in downtown convenience for dining as well as parking. Suggest making a reservation, walking around downtown in... More

Surprising because from its name you would think it was a bistro/cake shop but we had a delicious evening meal here. The ambiance was perfect with a roaring fire and an elegantly furnished dining area. Food was excellent. I had scallops and prawns with Julienne vegetables and rice. It was a very generous portion and I could not eat everything... More

I lived in France for several years, and this Patisserie brought back good memories. I indulged :) its fun to pick from the display, they use good ingredients. Its not your run of the mill bakery for sure.

We stopped off here on our drive to L.A. Before lunch we had a walk around town to stretch our legs and do some shopping. We asked a lady in the street, who was walking her little dog, for a recommendation. Without hesitation she said "it's gotta be the Patisserie Boissiere." As it happened we were close by. The moment... More

My wife and I enjoyed our Easter Sunday Brunch here. Very good French food and pastries, which we came back twice for! The atmosphere is cozy with a country-French style. Very romantic!

The four of us stopped here for lunch. The food was great and reasonably priced. The bread was some of the best that we have ever tasted. We would stop here again.

Intimate atmosphere, good menu, but with very little in the way of fish. Prices reasonable, all "specialties" $22 and under. House-baked deserts were mainly pies ,for sale to the outside public and located in the entry area for your selection. The one we had was delicious.
