We went here for breakfast because we read the reviews! Very disappointed. Sausage was the quality of McDonalds! The French toast was mushy! No one else was there! Very quiet. The waitress provided excellent service, but I do not complain and send my food back. Would not return.

If you are staying on the Island then Rhinoceros Cafe and Grill is the place for breakfast. It is in walking distance of all major hotels. You can sit inside or dine outside and get the street cafe ambience. The service is average and some of the servers are not 100% on their game, however it's nothing to excessive or... More

We visited this Rhinoceros Cafe and Grill for dinner on our vacation this April in Coronado. We were outside looking at the menu when the owner came outside and greeted us, and seemed so enthusiastic about his place, we couldn't not go in! The lobster bisque was excellent. My daughter had the pasta with vodka sauce and loved it. I... More

We had breakfast here and it was very enjoyable. We had a great time with our waitress, Linda. Let's face it breakfast is hard to ruin, it is all about service and they shined in that department!

Most of the negative reviews here seem to be focused on lunch and dinner. I can't comment on that because we just ate breakfast there. I would not be expecting a five star dining experience for dinner here, so maybe people's expectations were a little too high. We ate breakfast three days in a row while in Coronado which speaks... When we stay at the Del, we often get out for breakfast and we have tried them all on Orange Avenue. This year we tried the Rhino, an often over looked gem. They have everything one might want for breakfast, but in king sized portions. The french toast, the pancakes, the bacon, the eggs, the, the, the the everything was... More

Our family of 6 came in for lunch. Everyone was very happy. The food was perfect. The portions were big enough but not too much. The prices were just right.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast before catching our flights. Got to sit out on the sidewalk, which was sunny and beautiful. The service was fast and accommodating, and the food was delicious. The only slight downside was that the portions were enormous. We easily had enough food for two times as many people, and when you're getting on... More

Great service, very friendly and accommodating staff. The menu was fabulous- love the clams and mussels over pasta- absolutely delicious.

Average breakfast with a bright and sunny atmosphere. Best thing about the place is the friendly wait staff and the bright sunny room. I can say that the french toast is yummy and soaked in egg like it should be. The pancakes are on the light side. However, the sweet factor for breakfast is not quite there. Even the syrup... More
