Great little café in a small town---in fact, it is a legend...great place to have a good breakfast and watch all of the interesting people that past through this well known eating place.

Many healthy options at this cafe. You won't find the greasy spoon fare, but instead vegan, gluten free, and other options. Fresh ingredients, good balanced flavors and a friendly atmosphere. They close early, go for lunch.

We stopped here for breakfast. It has the fitting look of a small town coffee shop. Found the food uniformly mediocre at best, and very expensive for breakfast - $16 for an omelette? really? The dark, organic coffee is good and service was fine, but spending $54 (with tip) for three entrees and coffee is a bit steep.

Hubby and I had an omelet and a Buckwheat pancake. The omelet (mushroom/spinach/cheese) and rosemary potatoes with sourdough bread was more than enough for two people and we hardly touched the wonderful fluffy yummy pancake. Both of us enjoyed the mellow coffee and the service was friendly. Only two ladies and the chef so I’m glad the place was not... More

Although they only had a limited menu because the regular cook called in sick and the steam table was on the fritz it was still a great meal. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and the eggs and toast served hot as soon as it is ready in the kitchen. The mrs really like the breakfast potatoes. They were crispy... More

Omelette was ok, ham was good. Ordered a side of fruit which was 1/2 apple, 1/2 banana and 1/2 kiwi for $5.95. Huh? Be prepared as others have said, cash only and at the bottom of the menu it says that if you order to-go you will be asked to fork over an additional fifty cents for the container! We... More

It is hard to find decent food around here. The Woodrose has good breakfast made with pretty good ingredients. The price is a little more compared to a lot of places, but this is the best you can expect around here. I go here when I feel like getting a good breakfast for a decent price. Portions are good and... More

We always stop because we love the omelettes. It has become a good habit as it is consistently good. .
