What an adorable little gem! It was so cute inside and a wonderful spot. I had the bacon and cheddar omelette and my husband had the French Toast...delicious! We are going back for breakfast tomorrow.

We stumbled on Cody's, a short distance from the cove. I'm a bit of a lobster roll snob. Cody's was among the best!!!

This is a quaint little place. We had lunch. I ordered the fish n chips as it was rated the best in La Jolla. They were pretty darn good. It looks like they do a good breakfast as well. It's small, somewhat friendly, but most of all the food is really nice. If you are out shopping the boutiques or... More

The breakfast is great. I would highly recommend. Right in the center of downtown La Jolla near the Cove.

The high ratings are well deserved for this friendly restaurant in a great location. We went on a Saturday around 11 and weren't surprised at the number of people waiting. (I felt rather sorry for the surrounding restaurants that looked a bit like wallflowers in comparison.) I thought the hostess was erring on the side of optimism when she said... More

Based on other excellent reviews of Cody's on Trip Advisor, we took a short drive from San Diego to La Jolla for breakfast at Cody's. How glad we were to have gone there. The outdoor patio affords great views of the ocean and, although a bit chilly, we would not have traded the outdoor seating for anything. The food was... More

Cody's is a very busy place - and rightfully so. I enjoyed a cup of crab and corn chowder followed by the Mahi Mahi tacos. I've attached a photo here. You may notice that the tacos looked so good I started wolfing one of them down before I remembered I wanted to take a photo I could post here. You... More

My husband and I were enjoying the San Diego area when we decided to visit La Jolla for a little shopping and lunch. We stopped at the visitor information center and asked for a good place for lunch. We were told to go to Cody's for lunch because the food was great. We walked there after finding a parking place... More

Cody's was amazing! The place itself is super cute and the food was delicious! We started with the calamari, crab cakes, and civiche. All were better than other places! The lobster roll offered a huge serving of lobster and everyone loved their dish. Somehow, we had room for dessert, which was amazing! I can't wait to eat here again!
