Don't miss this gem in La Jolla. Great food with great service and a view you will never forget. Their French Toast is famous and the ribs were "fall off the bone" yummy.

Best french toast in California. Beautiful view of the coast. But if the wind is coming in the wrong direction, the stench from bird feces can be an issue.
The outdoor seating is beautiful, a peaceful place under trees with a view along the place. The food is carefully prepared and well presented and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our diner in this nice place.
Monday summer sunset, a lovely venue. Fish was very good and a good value. Not an extensive wine list. Service was pleasant and efficient.
We enjoyed a family dinner here while in town celebrating my daughter's college graduation. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and we loved the view and the food. The Coast Toast dessert was fantastic. As it cooled off on the patio the staff brought us lap blankets and a patio heater.

The French toast is tremendous. I love the omelets. The view is the best in La Jolla. The smell of the birds on the cliffs is horrid at times. The City fenced off the cliffs in recent years as a biological preserve so the birds have turned it into their latrine.
Food is ok a little expensive but you can't beat the view. Unfortunately the air is a little smelly because of the birds, maybe they'll get it cleaned up soon if enough folks complain.

I took some family members who were in town to breakfast this morning, and the whole experience was a let down. The service was quite good, but the food was awful. Overlooked bacon, when it eventually arrived, warmed over breakfast...

Brockton Villa is set in one of the most beautiful places a restaurant could be: literally, right across the street from the Pacific Ocean in La Jolla. It's an old place, which contributes to the charm. Up quite a few stairs from the street level, virtually every seat in the house -- and all those outside the house -- has...

We were seated on the balcony outside with a great view of the sunset and La Jolla Cove. Our server was fantastic from the wine service to menu knowledge and service. The sea bass was excellent. We had a very memorable evening at Brockton Villa!
