The Cliff House is in a beautiful setting. We had a dinner there that, and while not bad, was wholly unremarkable, The prices are way too high to have food that is so unimaginative. The service was also below the standards I would have expected.

I and two teenagers came in for a light dinner during happy hour. We were seated outside but it was a little windy for us. Even though it was very crowded, the hostess quickly and happily moved us to a very nice table inside. I make note of that because I wouldn't have called us a "big ticket" party and... More

The food was excellent. Great view from the outside seating. You can touch the mountain. The bar is very busy. The staff is very friendly.

I had a most enjoyable dinner at the outside Cliffhouse Bar earlier this month. This outside setting is most unique and inviting. I thought the baked California artichoke was outstanding! My entree of grilled filet mignon quesadillas were tasty but not distinctive. This is a great casual outdoor dining option in a welcoming atmosphere.

We were ushered to a lovely outside table adjacent to a desert rock formation. Even though we missed the sunset (which you can observe if you are seated inside), the outdoor ambiance is wonderful!! Our server was quite attentive and had no problems addressing our questions and special requests. Food, wine, atmosphere and service were all first rate!! Really am... More

We went for Happy Hour and would suggest an early arrival for an outside table. Can be very crowded. Valet parking as the building is virtually built into the side of a rock cliff. Some stairs. Good service and we enjoyed the burger, salmon salad and onion rings. Also, a cold, properly prepared vodka martini (Gibson). Happy Hour times 3:30... More

The food and presentation was awesome. The service was wonderful. While I didn't order from it, the sunset menu is an amazing bargain. I look forward to spending more time at this place!!!

There was only one "nit to pick" with respect to the Cliff House. Otherwise, it rates a five out of fie in all aspects. The one nit is their practice of removing a patron's plate when that patron has completed any particular course even though others have not yet completed that course rather than the better practice of not removing...
