Really good food. Had seafood chowder-style dish, salad with oranges, fennel and goat cheese, split macaroni and cheese with DH. Macaroni had large chunks of wild mushrooms in it. Pretty awesome. I was amazed at the quality of fish in the soup, and had a nice bit if spiciness to it. Very loud, fun bar scene with lots of other couples.... More

I have been here multiple times and never been disappointed. Pros: The roof top with drinks and they also have heaters and blankets for all those people who start feeling cold as night begins. Every time I go there, I go a little early and spent time with my wife having a drink and enjoying the great view of Laguna... More

Even though Tuesdays give you better value, it is worth it to go any day. Food is fantastic, and the small plates really aren't very small either! Loved the skinny Mojitos, Sangria, bacon wrapped stuffed dates, macadamia crusted tilapia, beet/arugula salad, roasted brussels sprouts, lobster mac and cheese, and short ribs-- plus a few other glasses of wine. The two... More

The restaurant is located in the lobby of la Casa del Camino hotel. We weren't expecting much. How wrong we were! All the dishes are small plates, so you can try lots of things. The offerings are unique and flavorful. The two of us polished off five plates and were satiated. This restaurant is worth a special trip if you... More

We checked into the hotel and were surprised that the first thing in the lobby was a restaurant and bar. After checking in we encountered a handsome gentleman who offered to carry my daughter's bag to our room because the elevator was unavailable. Come to find out, he was Luciano the restaurant and Lounge manager, not a bellboy. He invited... More

Go on a Tuesday for the extended Happy Hour. For every bar drink you purchase, you get half off a food item. Amazing melt in your mouth Truffled Lobster Risotto! We highly recommend it! For a "tapas" bistro, the portions are very large!

Went here on a Friday evening - got a reservation through Open Table - was seated right away even though the place was pretty busy. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Had a nice glass of Rioja and the Lobster Risotto (very good) - my wife had a Mojito and the catch of the day, both of which she... More

It was my wife's birthday, St. Paddy's Day, so we went for a cocktail and sunset on the roof and of course the place was standing room only. 180 deg view of the coast and even on a cloudy evening we still got to see a sunset. Fortunately I had made reservations for dinner and we were seated within 10... More

Went here in March but have been several times before. The food has always been consistently good and the service is more than acceptable. I will warn you to make reservations at least one day in advance because it is always crowded. They offer small plates with many options which makes it great for sharing or for a small meal... More

We ate here in February, 2013 on recommendations of people who we met earlier in the week. We just did the Happy Hour that runs from 4:30 - 5:30 PM so that's all I can review here. The food was absolutely terrific. The small plates give you an excellent sampling and allow you to try a variety of options. We... More
