We really enjoyed our lunch at the Wild Fish. It was right across from our hotel, but the prices were a little more reasonable, the view was picturesque, and the service and food was absolutely amazing!

We dropped in last night and were very, very impressed. My only regret is that we're leaving today and they are not open for lunch!! We shared the kale salad, which we won't do again, as it is sooooooo good that I'll need to have my own next time I come here. Seriously, I've dined at Cypress, Spruce, The Fifth... More

Although this is a tiny venue located across the street from the Little River Inn, it is a jewel of a find for foodies. We stopped in for lunch and were very glad we did: the fish was fresh and prepared perfectly. Our friends tried the soup and salad, and both of them were very satisfied. Give this small restaurant... Imagine strolling the streets of a quaint Northern California beach community (Mendocino), hungry and totally unfamiliar with what would be a good place the have lunch. Our confusion must have been palatable as, a total stranger stopped us and asked, "Are you trying to find a place to eat lunch?" Only in a small town!! This lovely person then quizzed... More

I have been in Mendocino for a month, the one restaurant we keep going back to is Wild Fish. Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation at this twelve table restaurant. Simple decorations, art and candles help this cozy eatery melt away your stress from a long drive or a long day at work. Situated across from The... More

Kelvin and Liz couldn't have been nicer as they squeezed us into the restaurant on a busy night without reservations. The Hot Curry Crab soup was divine, followed by a delicious halibut for me and the rock cod for my bride. The night was topped off with sticky toffee pudding (best ever) and a hug from Kelvin! Make reservations, it's... More

The best features of this little restaurant are the sunset views of the ocean and the friendly proprietors. The wine list offers a nice selection, but the prices - $10 to $16 per glass seem a little high. Bread - focaccia - was very tasty, but was doled out one 1 x 2 inch piece at a time - seconds... More

Had a wonderful lunch with a beautiful view! The Kale salad was wonderful! I had the fish of the day and my boss had a fish sandwich! Both were amazing! Planning on trying dinner soon!

I live here on the Mendo coast and I am elated that someone finally opened a place that specializes in seafood! Whaddya know, a fish restaurant in an ocean village! I love the food here--the staff has done a fab job with a really fun, risky, different and absolutely delicious menu that has changes frequently with what is available. Yes,... More
