A gracious and cozy French cafe run by a delightful woman who pays attention to her customers. Well-ttrained wait staff and nicely prepared food. The menu tends to slowly change over time, so if you come to like one particular dish, it might not be there when you return. A nice place for lunch with a first date.

Care Pierre is a true find in the Los Angeles area. This is the fourth time we've been there, and our experiences have been consistent. The food is excellent in terms of flavor, presentation and value. The bar has a cool vibe to it. The service was professional and each waiter we've had was very well trained. This is a... More

Just came back from a happy hour and wouldn't recommend it under any circumstances. The bartender wasn't very friendly but worse than that she overcharged on the bill. The food was mediocre at best. We crossed it off our list.

When you go into a restaurant where the owner is right there making sure everyone is comfortable, well cared for in terms of service and food, then you have a very good chance of having landed in a very interesting place. Now, if the menu has roots in the owners family or where he has lived, you are certain that... More

A small but cozy restaurant in the heart of downtown Manhattan Beach. Not an extensive food list, but some excellent choices. Very good wine list. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Have a nice meal and stroll downtown MB, enjoy a after dinner drink at one of the many restaurant/bars within walking distance.

We'd have never found this gem in between the loud drinking bars on Manhattan Beach Blvd. We're glad we found it on Open Table. Everything was great, obviously the chef cares about the quality of his food. The service was fine, atmosphere nice -- a real hidden gem. ps. the extensive wine list has some great 1/2 bottles. We have... More

We've enjoyed Cafe Pierre in years past. Busy, friendly, handsome cafe atmosphere with obvious pride of ownership. Fun great dinners with group of 10, as well as enjoyable dinner with family of 5. Last night was just the two us. Me wanting to taste again the great Steak au Poivre with pommes frites. My wife preferred a pasta, and she... More

If I didn't enjoy cooking for myself, I'd probably eat at Cafe Pierre almost every night. Love the quality and variety; there are comfort foods (mussels, frisee salad), and creative offerings (the jars and appetizers), and delicious entrees. If you are traveling solo, eat at the bar. Polished and friendly service. You will have fun here and enjoy a great... More

Pretends To be more than what It is, and is quite expensive from what You get. Nice people working there, but The food doesn't really make great changes. From my Point Of view could clearly improve. Location is great, Team are nice and Work hard To give You a good time.

This is the second time we eat at Cafe Pierre ; the waiter even remembered serving me. The food is simply delicious. We are European, and our comment was even that the food was "as good as in a restaurant in France" (this is a 'big' compliment ;) We had the "loup de mer" (John Dory), a very fine fish,... More
