We loved the romantic back patio that over looked their garden. The clam chowder was good and my husband enjoyed salmon paddies on a cucumber salad. YUMMY!

This is one of our go-to restaurants in Mendocino. The food is always fresh and reasonable. Boulliabase and rack of lamb are excellent. The menu is limited so walk by and check out the posted menu which changes regularly. This is a small place so if you want a table with a view call for reservations

We always stop at the Moosse Cafe when in Mendocino. The food, staff and setting are wonderful.Beautiful gardens. Small menu but all selections are excellent. Good fuel for an afternoon walk along the many coastal trails.

Liked the staff, liked the garden view, and loved the Salad Trio for lunch: Farro with cucumber, red onion, olive; Curried chickpea, carrot, currant; Celery root rémoulade. Each one was intriguing and tasty, the combination of flavours was perfect. This is from their Spring menu, but if they make other foods like they make this salad, you can't go wrong.

A real culinary gem. Excellent varied menu reasonably priced and well executed by the chef and staff. Good wine list. Serving staff in front of the house was extremely friendly and informative about the menu and wine selections. A great dining experience.

Plainly elegant, great service (mostly) and excellent, fresh food, great cioppino. The staff was wonderful the other night, accommodating our little picky requests beautifully.
