Had lunch there today with a friend. Superb friendly service, good prices, and excellent food. Started with home-made crusty bread and foccacio with a tomato/garlic/nutty spread. My husband and I have been dining at Gambardella's for many years. It is our "go to" nice Italian restaurant. It is warm and inviting, with the wood-fire oven visible behind the bar. Alway spoilt for choice between pasta and the specials. Don't miss the shitake mushroom salad and the chocolate fandango. Wonderful warm service. A special restaurant
