Good place but everything the 3 of us ordered was seasoned in a way so strange that it wasn't very good overall. The coconut-encrusted fish was good (but ginseng coleslaw side not so much) and the mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries were great however. Too expensive to go back and try more weird-seasoned stuff :p

Although they have a gluten free menu which I ordered off of I was sick after eating there. The food was very good for those not GF.

went here to have a good fish dinner, recommended via yelp. Got welcomed immediately and had a table by the window. Very nice ambiance, service is a bit hasty but ok. We had the shrimp rolls as appetizer, an excellent and very tasty bite. Then we had ahi tun, one seared and one medium. I personally worry about any heat... More

Ate here with family tonight. We arrived early and didn't have to wait. It didn't seem too busy even when we left. But I must say the service we much better than last time. The staff was more attentive and friendlier. Food quality was excellent and the drinks were great as always. I had the Mahi-pan fried. Good texture and... More

We were walking around town trying to select somewhere to eat and decided to try Hulus on a whim. What a good choice! The burgers were the best we have ever had. We were only in town for one night but we would definitely go back there again!

I wasn't expecting the food here to be so good, but it was excellent. I had the calamari sandwich and my husband had the fish sandwich - both were excellent. I would suggest skipping the fries and get the arugula salad - it was really good. My four year old got the quesadilla and loved it. The service was excellent... More

This place was recommended to us by a local merchant when we asked for a nearby, not expensive place for dinner. We were seated right away. The server came over right away to offer menu's and take drink orders (we just has water). Interesting menu. I chose the Ahi Bowl and my friend had the tofu (not sure how it... More

Had a really great visit. The food is all cooked from scratch, I had jerk chicken, delicious. The johnny cakes were amazing. Hubby had the coconut encrusted mahi, yum, yum. My daughter had the mac and cheese, which is old fashioned baked like your momma used to make mac and cheese, it was good to say the least. I had... More

Disappointed I had only spent one night in Monterey and only had one chance to eat here.. I totally loved this place and so did my wife. Great value and fantastic food and cocktails. Jawaiian Jerk Chicken melted in my mouth and the flavours hit my in the face like a big left hook. Duke's Luau Pork was the jab... More
