The food has always been wonderful here through out the many years its been open. Expansions and eating on screened porches are a nice touch during the warm months. We have never been disappointed in anything we have eaten here.

After hiking the grove and exploring Yosemite, we were famished. Someone in town told us about El Cid. We went there and the food was out of this world! I couldn't stop eating. We loved the enchiladas, rice, beans, homemade pico de gallo, and chips and other tasty treats.

Wanted to give it another try but will never return your better off buying frozen mexican food. My son got the burger decent i got an enchilada and it was just full of oil soaked up all the napkins. Don't go here keep going
