This French cusine restaurant is located at the corner of Grand and Lighthouse Avenue and has nice window views of the victorian style shops across the street. Our local hotel made the reservation for us and we were very pleased with the reserved prime table waiting for us. I noticed that they held another table with a reservation tag for...

This is an excellent, upper end restaurant over in Pacific Grove with a steadily changing menu. They put it on a hand written sheet daily. It's rather romantic, with live quality music at night. It's best to go during the week, as it can be hard to get in on the weekend, particularly during tourist season. I had the duck,...

We had a wonderful dinner. The food and service were excellent. The music was a nice touch, but sometimes a bit loud
With Max's and Passionfish the best restaurants on Monterey Bay. Excellent service and delicious food. The bœuf bourguignon will make you want to leave for France immediately. Family run, great and unobtrusive live jazz on some nights. A "must do" if you come to Pacific Grove or its environs.
The food is great, but the warm, friendly ambience is what brings us back. Christine makes her guests feel comfortable and at home. The French onion soup is always good, but this time I had the lobster bisque which was even better, if that's possible. And the bread is wonderful. No one here is in a hurry, so plan to...

We have eaten here numerous times, and have had awesome food. This is not your typical French Restaurant pricing. It’s reasonable, and we cannot say enough about how fabulous the food is. The entire staff is family, been in the restaurant business for many years, so have the routine down extremely well. The staff is so attentive, always going out...

The French owners were delightful, the food was magnificent and the atmosphere was romantic and intimate. We were seated (as were all guests) at tables facing the jazz duo, the music was tasteful, soft and didn't interfere with the ambiance. Possibly the best restaurant in Pacific Grove or even the Monterey Peninsula.
We've been to Normandie at least a dozen times by now and absolutely love it. I even bring my infant baby and she is greeted with a warm welcome too. Don't go if you're in a huge rush. Part of the experience is to enjoy your courses and wine. My favorite is the pork loin. Absolutely delicious! Second in line...

We visited Le Normadie last weekend as part of our anniversary weekend away and had a great meal. The French onion soup was amazing and the beef melted in the mouth. The wine was also fantastic and the live music was very pleasant - we could still have conversation which is often not the case with musicians in a restaurant....
