We were seated inside which was really outside. The waiter came fairly quickly and took the drink order. Then it was about 20 minutes with nobody in sight. we flagged down the water girl, who then tried to take our order. We had a couple of questions, which she then waived over another waiter to help. The meal came in... More

Okay, the ambiance is inviting. Great patio, greater upper patio, and when your in the dining room, ou feel like you are outside. Our waiter was very nice, friendly, and you can trust their knowledge of the menu. But not very attentive after for more refills etc. Big drinks, fair wine list...but...the food to me seemed average. Clams and mussels... More

My wife and I had a late lunch at Sammy G's on a warm Friday afternoon. We were seated by a young, nice; but non-energetic hostess who seated us at a patio 2 top next to the Palm Tree fountain. We sat, and sat, and sat while 2 waiters and a bus boy stood around watching us sit. Finally the... More

The ambiance on the upper patio was superior. The shared appetizer salad was prepared perfectly and just the right size. The bread was savory. But the entree, salmon and a fish pasta were simply beyond excellent. The Grey Goose Martini up was just as one would hope, beautifully prepared. The server was sincerely attentive, informative, friendly without being too present,... More

Very nice restaurant in Palm Springs. Very nice atmosphere and service was great. Main course and appetizers were very tasty. Decent wine list as well. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing dinner here. Also in walking distance to downtown PS. Price was not bad considering the location and quality.

While looking for another recommended dinner spot, Sammy Gs drew us in with a wonderful aroma of garlic, pasta and sauce. The place was packed on a weeknight, but even without a reservation we were seated promptly. Starting with calamari was a great choice as it was a full plate of lightly battered, tender rings and tentacles. Fettuccine Carbonara was... More

This was our first time to Palm Springs. We sat on the patio and enjoyed our meal while listening to great live music. There were many great Italian options to choose from and most of the portions were quite generous. We sat by the palm tree fountain which made our experience that much more relaxing. We would return again and... More
