Always great service and food. Excellent specials and great service even though they are busy every night. Try to stop by at least twice a week. Enjoy!

Very busy restaurant on Mother's Day but they found room for us. It is not a fancy place with white tablecloths and candles but the food was excellent. Crab cocktail tasted like the Dungeness they promised and my sole was perfect, not too much food and great caper sauce. Husband's salmon was grilled just like he asked, well done, and... More

We took a group of 8 and had terrific service from Chris. The caesar salads were crunchy and the louie was delightful. Our entrees fish taco, sole, mahi slider, angelica chicken and oysters were all delicious. They delivered a great experience for our lunch. Would certainly recommend returning.

This is my third location in this small chain of wonderfully done restaurants. All so far deliver an excellent dining experience. For this nights meal I arrived at 9pm and was given the same service as if I came any other time instead of close to closing time. This visit I had trout, wow it was very good.

If mussels are all over the menu (served in garlic butter with bread--yum!) and you order them, just to be told that "we're out"--would you be disappointed? I was. This was a slow Tuesday night, and I was somewhat shocked that "we're out" was all I got as a response to my order. Anyway, I ordered something else--much more expensive--and... More

if you like fish and you are in the area, this is the place. The restaurant tends to be full most evenings, and getting a table on weekend nights without a reservation will be a challenge. Once you're in though, everything is fine. The main course is cooked on the grill in front of you, everything is very transparent. I... More

I have been here two times and always I eat some suggestion from the kitchen. It is a place to eat light and reasonable prices

I have been to Fish Market in Palo Alto several times. The one thing that keep me coming back is the kitchen. As you walked in as a diner, the fresh market greets you. Like a fresh fish market it had variety that may not be offered in the standard menu. While you can label this as a family restaurant,... More

thee fish was under cooked, it was over priced, under seasoned just terrible. the side dishes were no better, dry veggies milky potatoes. the bread was the best part sadly. for this to be a bay area restaurant,i was deeply disappointed by the disgusting food preparation. Do not go kids will not enjoy anything on the menu. Adults won't enjoy... More

Wanted to have a fish dinner on the last night of a week long business trip. Came in around 8:30 pm on a Thursday night. Had to sit around the grill/bar. Since I was alone, thought this would be fine, but eventhough I was sitting up front and close the service was poor. I felt rushed and the halibut was... More
