Old fashioned good food but nicely done - not heavy or greasy. They have the best bacon ever. But they also have really nice salads. The staff has been there forever and they will take good care of you.

Went here for breakfast and found it average. I ordered the Paso Robles omelet while my g/f had the santa fe scramble. The portions were very average and we honestly felt that for almost $10 a plate, you could get something as good if not better at Denny's. The waitress was not very attentive to our group and I felt...

Vic's was awesome and exactly what we were looking for. Good prices, a nice big breakfast and plenty of options. The waitress was so sweet and you could tell this was a locals place. I had the Egg Vic's Muffin (essentially an english muffin sandwich) and it was very tasty.

After visiting friends at the Adelaida Cellars Winery out Adelaida Road we came back into town for breakfast before heading home to Yuma,AZ.
The place was nice and clean, the servers were very friendly and the food was good. The only thing I found wrong was the coffee was very high at $2.25. That is almost as bad as...

Discovered this place on a recent trip to Paso. it was like being in my Grandmothers kitchen again. Food is excellent. Service; while really good, could be snappier but being called honey by the waitresses more than made up for it. Do not miss this place for breakfast or lunch. Try the Spicy Vic's Burger. Fat grub!
My husband and I went to Vic's last night for dinner and it was very good. I had the chicken fried steak and he had the pork chop special, we cleaned our plates. The steak was grilled ( no breading) with a tasty gravy, homemade mashed potatoes and baby carrots. The pork chops were very tender, they had been brined,...

Stopped here on drive to Los Angeles for breakfast. Sat at the counter with my grandson. He ordered linguisa and eggs, I got an enchilada omelette. The food was good, we received it promptly, and the servers were attentive and friendly. There were mostly locals having breakfast. I would return if in the area.
I had the salmon entree almost a week ago and the fish was barely warm and the center of the filet was not fully cooked. I thought of sending it back to the kitchen but I don't go to restaurants to tell cooks how to cook.
I've had this dish before, without it being cooked improperly.
There is no excuse...

It is a favorite for all the local residents. The Mac and Cheese is to die for. Just like Mom use to cook.
Support Local! It is places like Vic's that are reminiscent of the "good ol' days" when little homey diners and cafes where the focal points of small town social life. Vic's retains much of that same small town charm. In fact, the Mayor and other city "principals" often gather here to solve the problems of the world over a good...
