Ramona's best Mexican food in a hole-in-the-wall on Main Street with homemade salsa, chips, chile verde, enchiladas, and the menu on the board. Don't expect fancy but the food is alway satisfying and served by Mexicans who know how to cook.

I was disappointed to find a reliable cafe falling below good. It was always our stop, but the last visit was heavy and not remarkable, sorry

Good food, good prices, no frills. Kids menu available too. In the middle of the town, easy to find.

La Cocina is a great little Mexican restaurant in Ramona, CA. The food seemed to me to be authentic, homemade Mexican food. The beef taco & beef flauta were fantastic!

Located in an old building on Main Street this place seemed to be doing serious take-out business while we waited for our dinner. Had excellent chicken enchiladas along with the usual accompaniments. Even though you order from the register, the wait staff offered drink refills and checked on how we were doing. Very impressive. Deserves its high rating.

We have been eating here for 26 years, and have never been disappointed! Try their Aida burrito for a change from the usual Carne Asada.

La Cocina is a well established business and the place is always busy. The people are super nice and always try to please. This is a taco shop but if you eat in they will bring your food and beverages to your table. They also provide chips and salsa for dinning in guests while you wait. I would not say... More

Very average mexican food. The tortillas were fresh and the salsa and chips good. The carne asada meat was extremely tough and the chicken was dry on several dishes. Better than fast food Taco Bell, but not by much.

Walking in there is a good feel and aroma to La Cocina. The owners and employees are very friendly, and our food was delicious. It was sparkly clean. When in Ramona, this will be my dining location.

This is authentic Mexican food. My wife had the chicken rancho combination and I had the beef taco combo. Both were very tasty. They serve chips with three types of salsa, one mild and two different ones with more of a bite. The salsas are left on the table so you can spice up your dish to taste. The portions... More
