Very smoky, but decent food. Staff were pretty unprofessional, and our table was still dirty, but my friends all wanted to go and liked.
At Tapa the World, you will find a cozy atmosphere in the heart of downtown Sacramento that offers choice food and beverages. It offers outdoor seating and excellent service. The food is well prepared and the menu offers both Spanish and American dishes. The Spanish style tapas are fantastic. Be sure to try the Sangria.
We came here with friends many years ago, honestly I didn't remember what we had, but that was the very first time I ever tried tapas and I had a very fond memory of it. After all these years, my husband and I went back to Sacramento and was delighted to find the place is still there. We tried tortia... More
Went with a group of 9 ... All our food was delicious ...my appetizer came with my meal...but thoroughly enjoyed meal anyway...the dark beer was amazing,,,did get a little loud as the night wore on..but I think it was because everyone was enjoying themselves

So, for those of you leery about eating at a Tapas spot, this one will break you in gently. Not traditional, but definitely unique. I always enjoy coming here to discover that one item I haven't yet tasted. The staff is decent, though I come more so for the food.
Our party of four went there after the graduation ceremonies at Sac City College. The atmosphere is lovely, decoration is pleasant and there was a live guitarist playing. I was happy that I ordered the Pesto Chicken Pita. The portion was not too large. It was accompanied with a lovely salad, and very delicious. Price: $10. Can't beat that! The... More
We just missed the lunch menu, so pricey for a snack. The food was nothing special. I must say the waiter was very helpful & attentive...gave good advice about the beers.
