Not gourmet by any means but okay. No complaints about anything we ordered (salad with grilled salmon, penne with shrimp, clams, and scallops) although the seafood in the penne wasn't particularly interesting and the scallops were teeeeeeny. Probably would skip it next time but no regrets.

The food was absolutely delicious!! It was incredibly well priced, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The chicken picata was to DIE FOR! Definitely make a reservation because you'll need it.

Local family owned and operated! Consistently good food and service. Menu has good variety without being overwhelming . Salads are fresh and tasty. Lamb sausage is a local favorite with pasta or on a salad. There is also a daily fish sandwich. Wife loves it for "ladies lunch" but also many business men stop here. Located next to Arlington Theater... More

I chose this restaurant as much for personal sentimental reasons based on the name as for the reviews and menu. It was a fortunate whim, one of the better dinners I have had in a long while. Everything was exceptional. The atmosphere is classy and upscale, but still warm and comfortable. The service was flawless. And everything about the meal... More

Such a surprise! My wife and I picked the restaurant out of the blue yesterday (April 26, 2013) while walking around downtown. As mentioned in other reviews, the menu is eclectic but there are plenty of choices; including vegetarian food. We were seated and our server came to us promptly to take our drink order. I had the BLT with... More

Love their Creativity salad menu! Great combinations and many choices...You would never go wrong no matter what! Love the signature cocunut cake...perfect finish with bowl of warm salad! She is the favorite for the locals...located at midtown state street, in the heart of Santa Barbara new restaurant district! Be sure you make reservation especially on concert nights!

Such a spectacular place to dine for lunch. The meals are fresh and beautifully prepared with quality ingredients. I took my daughter and I loved that the children's menu included a grilled chicken and vegetables dish (all children's dishes come with soft serve ice cream cones for dessert and are the perfect portion size. I had the shrimp and scallop... More

As yet one more Simpson House recommendation, we knew that the food and service would be outstanding; but we had no idea HOW outstanding... The mood of the place was both casual and intimate... The menu is eclectic, with plenty of excellent seafood... Our B&B recommended their Hawaiian Ono sandwich, Papaya and Dungeness Crab salad, Grilled Prawns appetizer, and Shrimp... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in California. The food is beyond wonderful. I can't say enough about how good the food is. They don't try to be terribly fancy, they just execute flawlessly. I had the seafood stew and an appetizer that had grilled prawns with polenta. Both were outstanding. The service is also wonderful. You feel very... More
