Heard about this place from a local friend. Had to visit it twice during my 3 day stay in Santa Monica. Food is delicious, staff is super friendly, and it is open pretty late. So many different burger options that it is tough to make a choice. Truffle fries are a must. Great beer/wine selection. House-made pickle platter is a... More

Brioche Bun, high quality products used, hand packed with care, shoestring fries on the side. Staff always in a good mood and friendly. Pleasant casual atmosphere. Perfect, Perfect, Perfect! Favorite menu item is the truffle burger… close second is the triple pork burger. Place gets VERY busy on weekends so plan ahead. Get a table outside on the patio and... More

After the first time I eat in this place... I just cannot spot thinking about it when I desire a burger! I had some great experiences with burgers in the past, but not in California! The burger it's tasty, you don't feel to much full when you finnish.. is just the perfect size and specially the combination. The basic one... More

Had to wait quite a while to be seated outside on a Friday night, but the burger was definitly worth it! Service is ok. If you don´t know that it is at Fred Seagal shop you will never find it!

Super yummy burger. I got it without the buns and with poutine fries. Also got a truffle cheese fries on the side (highly recommended!). Waiter forgot about my beer because it was super hectic in there. No big deal. Place gets super busy, better to come earlier for dinner. At least they have plenty of settings outside on the waiting... More

While in the States, my husband and I were on a mission to find the best burger ever. I think UMAMi Burger took out this title. I had to write a review about it because I still think about this burger when I'm hungry and wish they had a franchise here in Australia. We went to the UMAMI Burger at... More

#1: Truffle Burger The burger was perfectly sized. I saw in some reviews that people said the size is too small but for me I think it was perfectly sized. Not too big and not too small. The bread was soft in the inside but crispy on the outside and the truffle-glazed meat was juicy and moist. I love how... More

I have never had a burger that did not need to have ketchup or mustard or anything added to it to enhance the taste. The truffle burger is a must. Once you try it, you're hooked. It is juicy and very flavorful. The restaurant itself is small and crowed, sometimes the wait is long, however, it is worth it. When... More

Had the truffle burger and onion rings... I think I might crave the truffle burger for eternity and I don't really like red meat. Fun place to sit outside, have a beer and take a break from shopping at Fred Segal. I would say, worth the hype and wait.

The burger was tasty, but, if you want to spend that kind of money you might as well go to Spago and get a chef-centric burger a la Wolfgang.
