FOOD: The foie gras was gratifying (salty + fatty = tasty). The parmesan soufflé was delightfully sumptuous. The halibut was a bit too fishy for our taste. The pork was juicy and savory. The lamb was tender and utterly delectable (our favorite of the night). SERVICE: Our waiter was the consummate gentleman. He was courteous, attentive, and helpful. The service... More

we had dinner here twice, both made great impressions, in different ways. the first time it was the atmosphere and the service. we are not that into fine dining, mostly because we have very little time between work and young children. but after that time, i thought to myself "i could really get used to this". the second dinner we... DH & I went to Plumed Horse for Thanksgiving dinner. One of our worst dining experiences ever. As we were finishing our second course, a man two tables away fainted, and his wife yelled for help. He was lying on the floor when he came to, then sat up, and eventually got back into his chair. Someone called 911. A... More

This one-star Michelin restaurant has a beautiful warm dining room with tables far apart from each other and quiet to be with your dining party. The service was calm and helpful. The food was top-notch. The prices are high, so this is a special occasion restaurant. But for that special night, you cannot do any better!

We recently had a fantastic evening in this lovely restaurant to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Our hosts reserved the chefs table and we had the signature tasting menu. What followed was a night of theatre with excellent food coupled with great wine tastings and the fun of watching the kitchen brigade at work. We had full view of the kitchen... More

This Saratoga restaurant offers superior ambiance and menu. Although the food is a little pricey, it's a great place for celebration with friends and family.

The Plumed Horse is an expensive, high-quality fine dining experience. They set a high goal for themselves and they've achieved it. The food and the service are exceptional, but you'll pay for it. Every course is an experience. Do not skip the desserts and cheeses, or the port cart. The bar is beautiful if you don't want to leave. The... More

We have been here a few times before but this will be our last time we will ever come again. We came here for Christmas Eve dinner.First of all, it is kind of misleading when on their website they said a 9-course dinner,it was really a 4 course dinner. The service was especially poor this evening and we were not... More

Our group went here and 3 of us did the tasting menu at $145 ea and the other 3 had the Entreconte beef. First for the tasting menu- came with rabbit, antelope, and some signature dish with a few desserts. The meat dishes were all very dry and desserts were nothing extraordinary. Our friend's meat dishes were also dry and... More
