We came on this as we walked north of the ferry in Sausilto. It was a lovely day and there were tables outside on the sidewalk. For lunch we had salads, strawberry, arugla, hazelnuts and goats cheese and beets, pistachios, greens and honey yoghurt. Both were small but a good size for lunch, beautifully presented and delicious. Others enjoyed a... More

It's a bit like a Flintstone's meal, but two can handle it! It comes grilled with lemon and rosemary, along with some creamy whipped potatoes.

I hate to write this review because I've had wonderful experiences at Poggio in the past, which is why we decided on this place to take our out-of-the-country guests. The meal started out well when they gladly obliged our request for a table change from the inside back to an outdoor table. The waiter made an excellent wine selection when... More

Stopped in for late lunch and was not disappointed. Read the descriptions carefully and you'll realize that the menu describes variations on a standard North Italian menu. (My "gem lettuce with anchovy and lemon" could pass for Caesar Salad.) A great wine list with a decent selection by the glass, nice decor and excellent service. Too bad the outdoor seating... More

Poggio location, large lovely room, bar and food make this the place to go while in Sausalito. The pasta, chicken and pizzas are the stand out foods, the bar is vibrant and the bar tender is a sweet heart. The best thing about this place is the FEEL...you are in a spacious room with a great staff and lively spirit.... More

We went here for dinner with our family. I love Italian food so was surprised that much of the items on the menu had to be described for me by the waiter. The food was good but not worth the expense in my opinion.

Sidewalk cafe tables are nice to take in the lovely harbor views. Limited breakfast menu, but lunch and dinner menus offer a good variety.

Stopped in for lunch on a beautiful warm spring day. We sat outside to watch the world go by. A great spot. The food was very good. The margarita pizza was very good as we're the clams and pork belly. The spaghetti was also good but the portion was so small we questioned if it was a half portion. The... More

Poggio is located conveniently on Bridgeway in downtown Sausalito where there is plenty of parking. The inside of the restaurant is very comfortable and spacious. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The food is always excellent. I recently dined their for my mothers birthday during their special truffle week. The food was over the top.

We found Sausalito to be very touristy. Poggio is on the main street but down from the tourist hub. We sat outside and had a very nice meal. Our waitress was very helpful with suggestions for sights and restaurants.
