We celebrated CU graduation at the Flagstaff House and had an incredible dining experience. The views to Boulder are magnificent and the service is impeccable. The waitstaff was very attentive and the food was fantastic. From the 12 hour braised bacon to the Rocky Jr. Chicken to the Ruby Red Trout everyone's food was perfect. Also nice were the sorbet... I've eaten at the Flagstaff 5 or 6 times over the past 30 years, and it NEVER disappoints. VERY expensive - most recently (5/9/2013) $700 for six excluding wine. But for that special occassion, worth every penny. Staff is knowledgable, friendly, attentive but not overbearing - a very rare combination. View from their picture windows breathtaking. In moderate to warm... More

Gorgeous location, creative and exceptional food, incredibly attentive and helpful service (there are a lot of people who work here, all of them friendly and accomodating). Upscale without being pretentious. Beautiful space, with lots of options.

Friends recommended the Flagstaff House in Boulder as the place to impress our friends from the New Jersey coming to our wonderful Colorado for the first time - and what can I say? Everything but really everything was up to our (very high) expectations. Awesome location with a breathtaking view over Boulder. Very friendly welcome, excellent service, food was excellent,... More

Last night's dinner was special, and I say that having been to the Flagstaff House many times over several decades. Praise for: * good service that provided without intruding, * an awesome wine steward who steered us to a great bottle I wouldn't have picked myself, * inventive food -- especially the cauliflower custard with (sea salt?) caramel topping and... I have only been to Flagstaff house 3 times, but those 3 meals were in my top 10 meals of all time. Great location, incredible views, impeccable service, exquisite food. I just wish I could afford to eat here more often, but it is worth every penny!!!

This has been a family and business favorite for over twenty years. Historically, everything is always perfect, so I hope this was just a bad night. The veal osso bucco was absolutely terrible. The reason was the chef was trying to be cute; the bone marrow was to be sampled and savored and had a separate fork inserted to allow... More

Just terrific. Very expensive, but for the right occasion, worth the splurge. The food is simply excellent. The menu is extensive; it was hard to make a choice. Everything that came out of the kitchen was perfectly prepared and presented. The view is magical. The view in Boulder is just great from anywhere... that beautiful town/university nesteled against the Flatirons;... More

My wife and I come to the Flagstaff every year for each other's birthdays and our anniversary. It really is the best dining experience around. The food and service are second to none and the view/setting is unique. Yes, it is expensive but honestly when I get the bill I don't even look at the total I just sign and... More

The service is fantastic and the food are service are also. If only they'd quit raising their prices...I guess you pay for the view which is unsurpassed in the Denver area.
