Celebrated my wife's birthday at Ember in March 2013, the food was excellent, as was the service. The atmosphere was both welcoming and relaxed. We have been going to Breck for our ski holidays for over 10 years and Ember is now our favourite restaurant there.

We had a nice meal here but I wasn't blown away as much as I have been at some other Breck restaurants. Service was very good but I didn't love the atmosphere.

Wife and I loved everything about the meal. Great snowfall outside, and a great atmosphere inside. We both had great meals....get the venison!...and it was priced appropriately. Prepared to perfection as well. Service was superb and friendly. One of our Breck favorites.

OK I have to admit the cocktails and the apps were good. The main courses were all trying way too hard. I am a chef and a foodie and felt that this place just missed the mark totally. They said they had a big table upstairs and at least they redeemed themselves by giving my friend a $50 gift card.... More

Ember has never disappointed us! From the warm welcome (thanks, Jonathan!) and the professional wait staff...to the inventive and delicious food, we make it a point to eat here at least once whenever we're in Breckenridge. Note also that the Ember bar echoes the great ambience of the dining room, and has a terrific "Euphoric Hour."

Had we eaten here earlier in the week, we might not have gone anywhere else! We started with the Lobster Carnival and the Asian Pepper appetizers. Both were excellent, but the lobster dish was the favorite. We ordered four different entrees and four different desserts and sampled them all. All of the food was fantastic. Service was impeccable. Travis was... More

Food is definitely edgy here. The layering of flavours and presentation, were much appreciated and enjoyed. Lobster Mac & Cheese appetizer had so many chunks of lobster, the most that I've enjoyed anywhere. So many flavours, including a most memorable white bean rissoto that accompanied a fish entree. Service was very attentive. Good wine list that includes half bottles.

We were very tired our first night in Breckenridge and had reservations made by our concierge who recommended Ember. We were not disappointed. The hostess graciously accommodated our table request. Samantha, our waitress was warm and very efficient for the number of tables she was handling. The wine list is excellent, the Indian crisp bread and yoghurt, sauce and unusual... More

Very, very, very different menu. If you are a foodie, this is a MUST. If you are tired of the tradional, this is a MUST. If you are picky, I do not recommend Ember. Try the cocktails, especially the beet vodka martini. I also enjoyed the Blueberry Crush cocktail. Our server seemed very knowledgable, but seemed busy and/or rushed. Great... More
