My wife and I are always looking for great German restaurants around the country and had been on the look out for one since we moved to Colorado. We heard about the Edelweiss from a relative and after visiting their website we decided we had to try it. We went for lunch on a Monday and we were impressed immediately.... More

I enjoyed the excellent German food and spirits at this restaurant. The beer garden was pleasant and relaxing to sit in.

I was on a business trip to Co. Springs and saw this restaurant listed on yelp. Can't pass up an authentic German restaurant. I can't say I loved it, like I wanted to. First, I waited at the hostess stand for a little while before someone came to sit me, while down the hallway there was plenty of staff looking... More

Three of us, military brats, went to school together in Vilseck Germany in the mid 70's. We ended this year's girls get together having a wonderful meal here at the Edelweiss! Our waitress was nice, the atmosphere and food were very nice reminders of our time in Germany! When in Colorado Springs, I will be eating here! Recommended to my... More

What a fun place. It was a chilly day so the seating by the fireplace was perfect. The food was tasty. The service was perfect. The atmosphere and the food was very authentic.

I am always looking for good German food since I grew up on the stuff. The atmosphere in this place is somewhat dated. We were sat in the basement dining room - I do not recommend this. Our booth was dusty and we had a couple of tiny ants run across our table. the food was average. The beginning salad... More

I recently spent five nights in Colorado Springs. Four out of those five evenings, I ate at Edelweiss Restaurant. Enough said.

Let me preface this by saying that I have never been to Germany so I cannot say if it was authentic or not. What I can tell you is that the food was very good and the price was very reasonable. The portions are large and the plates were neat. The service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. I... More

The food was great, the atmosphere was exactly like they wanted it to be (traditional German style) we ate there with quite a few people off the lunch menu which was reasonable priced and traded food with everyone, including a 1 year old and a 6 year old, there was very little that we didn't like. We had the calamari... More
