My wife and I have been dining here regularly -- once or twice a month, on average -- for three or four years now. 19 times out of 20, this place has served up the best Indian and Nepali food of any place we've ever tried. We gladly drive the extra miles to eat here, rather than at lesser Indian... More

pleasantly surprised to have a lunch buffet in Bergen Park/Evergreen with lots of veggie options. Himalayan food seems like a good mix of Indian and Asian dishes, so while some of the names seemed unfamilar, the flavors and textures were excellent.

Not to say it was bad in any way. The food did not have the usual "spice" of this type of cusine. The lunch buffet was o.k. at best. It lacked variety, and meat dishes. The server never smiled, or acted friendly. He did not respond when I said thank you for something he did. Parking was tight, and signage... More

Inconsistent food. Nice staff. I have had other Nepalese food that is more impressive.

This unique restaurant adds an international flavor to Evergreen. The decor and servers all bring the spirit and tastes of the Himalayas to a small western town. Traditional dishes dot the menu and every dish our family has tried has been a hit. For something truly out of the ordinary in Evergreen, give Cuisine of the Himalayas a try.

The people are so nice and the food is some of the best Indian food I have had. Great stuff and try the self serve frozen yogurt, menchies, next door. Great!

They have a great lunch buffet. Go there quite a bit and haven't been disappointed - they have great chicken trikka masala. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, getting more naan seems to take forever but luckily it's a buffet so you don't have to wait for your food

The good folks running this restaurant are quite friendly enough - I would like to give them 5 stars. Unfortunately, the overall service and food do not warrant this. The food is very average. I am afraid they have "simpled-down" their flavors for the American palate which is a shame. The food lacked the spiciness and complexity I hoped for.... More

We love Indian food and were not disappointed in our first visit. The atmosphere is upscale and quiet. The food was well prepared and tasted wonderful. The service was prompt and friendly, but not intrusive. We will be back!
