Our easy choice in Grand Lake, we've had good times here. The setting is informal with cowprint tablecloths, peanut shells on the floor, utensils in a little bucket on the table, and western touches on the walls. The menu offers a good variety. I especially like the sampler plate where you can choose what you want, such as 3 ribs... More

We ate here one evening after a long day hiking in RMNP. I had the pulled pork and it was really very good. It was served without a bun and the portion was more than 3 people could eat. The BBQ sauce was just right - not overpowering and not stingy. The sides were mediocre and my husband's trout was... More

We were surprised to find a cozy, clean, friendly, and fun place to eat on a cold and rainy visit. My husband and I tried Rocky Mountain Oysters, elk medallions, wild boar sausage, bison ribs, and local brewed beer. Our daughter ate her whole steak and thought throwing peanut shells on the ground were the best thing ever.

This is a fun, throw-your-peanut-shells-on the-floor kind of place on the boardwalk in Grand Lake Village. The food is very good and the portions are large. Plan to bring a big appetite, split a meal or take some home! The big portions make it a good value. If you go in the evening, the foxes that make their rounds of... More

Portion sizes were huge and prices were decent. Service is a bit slow, but forced us to slow down and enjoy our vacation.

The BBQ was great, staff was very attentive. The place has a very charming rustic feel to it... Definitely a must stop when in the area...

After a morning of snowmobiling, we went to Sagebrush for lunch. The food was great but the service was not. I heard the breakfast buffet is good, but we make it there for that.

Great soup & homemade cornbread!!! That's all I had, but it was a nice way to warm up from all the cold & snow.

There's this GPS website - I forget which. And it has a Ride to Eat guide. People on motorbikes (Harleys presumably) ride around and make these stops to eat and one of the recommendations is the Sagebrush BBQ & Grill. It's the first time I've listened to the GPS and while it might not be the last, I won't be... More
