Passing through after visiting the Hot Springs and stopped here for lunch. The food (Burgers) were quite good and the service was good. It is a relatively small place and seemed to have a steady traffic of customers...many of them locals. It is worth the stop.

I wasn't expecting much when I first walked into this place, hardly any place to sit and it appeared that ice cream was the main focus. Read on this site that they had good burgers.....AND THEY DID! Would definitely go back.

Heard the hamburgers were great, but the Pulled Pork was awesome! Beer was great also! Come and enjoy :)

My husband and I visited Cafe Ouray yesterday afternoon for lunch. We are staying in Telluride and decided to make the 236 mile loop drive to Durango and back. We arrived in Ouray about midday. Based on previous reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to visit this location. It isn't right on the main street through town, but not too difficult... More

We had chicken & avacado wraps & they were absolutely delicious! Small family run cafe. Service was great. They also offer homemade ice cream and gelato.

Several joints try to claim the title of "best burger" in town, and Cafe Ouray's half pound "town favorite" may indeed be a contender, but I may prefer the Western's burger and fries across the street, though Cafe Ouray's may be bigger and cheaper at 7.50 before cheese... and just might feed you twice if you take half of it... I had a hankering for a good burger this past August. Cafe Ouray did not disappoint! For $7.50 you get a 1/2 lb burger and curly fries. Very good value in Ouray since prices tend to be higher than a larger city. The building is kind of small so be sure to get there early for a seat at a... More

Wife and I stopped in for lunch after a hike. It is not on main street but 1/2 block off. It is a family run cafe. We were served by the owners to young daughters. Their professionalism was impressive. The food was prepared well and was just what we needed.

Their burgers are way better than Maggies Kitchen who advertise being the best. Friendly service. We also had the footlong hotdog which was also very good. We would recommend this place as one you need to try if you go to Ouray.
