Since we had to wait for our reserved table to become available, we sat at the bar and it was at least five minutes before anyone decided to ask if we would like a drink. The bartenders were extremely busy serving the drinks to the rest of the restaurant such that the people at the bar, of which there were... More

We went here because I saw the chef on Better Connecticut (channel 3). They said that they also have a healthy item menu. We went last Saturday night. The bread served was very good. Then the meals came. Our "healthy" meals were the smallest meals that I have ever seen...even a childs menu is bigger. I'd say it was 2... More

On our way home from our son's hockey game, we decided on a nice meal at LaTrattoria in Canton, CT. We asked to speak to the chef (Collins) regarding our sons multiple food allergies. It was a busy night for the chef, yet he came out to speak with us and offered nice suggestions for the meal. He was very... More

If it weren't for the Living Social discount we probably would not have visited this restaurant. The food was very good and the salad which came with the dinner was exceptional. That surprised us but so did the poor service. I ordered the baked stuff shrimp and my wife the lemon sole. I had to look far and wide to... More

This attractive little restaurant has been around for decades since they provide great meals with quality service. There is ample seating inside for larger parties like ours on the day we dined. The decor is nice, although dated. We enjoyed our pasta dishes and the steaks were cooked just right.

Always enjoy it here. Food is very good and service is excellent. Owner comes by to check on everyone (good idea!) and the waitstaff has been there many years.

Very noisy old paper thin construction - can hear people on the floor below but average old fashioned spaghetti and chicken catchetori

Went there for a business meal with about 15 people, all from out of town. Everything we ordered was good, actually very good. The crusty bread was killer good, although they could drop the pretzel-looking things, and just serve the bread. Veal saltimbocca was on the specials list that night, and half of us got it. It was outstanding. Some... More

We had a wonderful Tahnksgiving dinner at the "Trot" this year. With just the two of us we weren't sure of what to expect and found it was wonderful. We had not been to the "Trot" in several years which we now regret having been away from such a warm inviting place. We had a late seating and were seated... More

This was always a very consistent restaurant. I don't know if the restaurant was sold or under new management. The silver haired man that always there in the past was always on top of everything. The bread and olive oil, salad and mussels were very good. It took forever for the mussels to arrive and the same with the dinners.... More
