Superb dining, great service, ample parking across the street. An upscale, inviting menu with impeccable execution.
We've been taking friends and family to The Roger Sherman Hotel/restaurant for many years. The main reason we go there, other than the great food and ambiance, is the fact that it's a perfect place to have a quiet conversation. It's like being in a private home, no loud music, or other diners leaning over to hear your conversation or... More
We got married at the Roger Sherman Inn 14 years ago today. We had chosen the inn because it was cozy, charming, reasonable and had great food. We've been back several times for our anniversary and have never been disappointed, even through a few ownership changes. Tonight was no different. In fact our waiter had been working 14 years ago... The new owner previously owned Le Chateau Restaurant in South Salem, New York. He has turned this restaurant into another outstanding establishment. You cannot go wrong here for a special meal.

We do not look funny as a family and we are always respectful, so I do not know what is going on. We ate at the Roger... More
Put my father up at the inn and had family dinner at the restaurant. Nice ambiance. Food and devour we're average. Many other better choices in the area.
The dining room is comfortable and the staff is always pleasant if not that competent . The food is never great but okay- My recommendation is to sit at the bar ( good bartender) have a drink and and get an appetizer.
When we arrived at Roger Sherman Inn, it was a picture-perfect June evening and we had a wonderful table on the front porch. Unfortunately, the service was sub-par and the food average. I alerted the restaurant prior to our arrival that it was my husband's birthday and we were looking forward to a special evening. We ordered dinner and never... More
