The food at Navaratna is good but this is completely a vegetarian restaurant. Price for food is ok!!!
it is very nice casual place. good south indian food. dosa is best. masala dosa is my favorite. a must go.
Great indian food at reasonable price. Please not this is vegetarian restaurant. I would highly recommend their Thali options.
My wife likes Indian food alot more than I do. She loves the food here says it tastes great. Never has the spicy stuff but there is a good variety on the menu. Wish they did not try to sell you more items than you ordered( bread, other sides) but otherwise the staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is an authentic south Indian restaurant and probably the only one in the Fairfield County. A lot of people in US do not know that there is significant difference in the North and South Indian cuisines. I think after going to this restaurant one would be able to taste the exquisite south Indian cuisines over here. The staff is... More
This is a Kosher Indian restaurant that is dairy. There used to be a kosher dairy Indian restaurant in Manhattan called "Pongal" but that one sadly became NOT Kosher. There is however a meat Indian Kosher restaurant in the City. But if you want Kosher Dairy Indian food this is one of the only restaurants in the tri-state that you... More

The host was unfriendly even though the place was empty when we got there. The other staff were pleasant. The one thing that impressed me... More
When visiting the Stamford area there isn't much in terms of Kosher dining available. In fact, I believe that Navaratna is one of only two Kosher establishments in the area. My wife and I both love Indian food, but since becoming Kosher about 5 years ago the options are slim regardless of location. We were very pleased to see that... More

There is a reasonable representation of all states. Masala Dosa and Paper Masala Dosa was good. The mixed vegetable Utappa was a bit too thick for my tastes. Sambar,... More
I've tried a lot of Indian food. Last week I was leaving the Stamford downtown mall and noticed Navaratna. I went in and ordered the Palak Paneer and salted lassi. The lassi was some of the best I've ever had. The Palak Paneer was good too, a little too salty for me, but everyone else loved it. The staff was... More
