We ate there a couple of weeks ago. The prices were great - since it was offseason pricing. I got the salmon which was delcious. The waitress was very nice, but the hostess was unfriendly. Everyone liked their meals. Crab cake, oysters and coconut shrimp.
Ate in pub area. Barmaid told us to sit anywhere when we came in. Waitress came after a 10 minute wait. Ordered 2 waters and a soda. Got waters, no soda and had to ask for menus. Ordered beer batter flounder(which was ok) and husband ordered broiled pork chops. Reordered soda. 10 minutes later, waitress informs us there is a...

The House of Welsh is a great place to eat, drink, dance, and make new friends. It's one of those places you want to return to every year. Lots of food choices and great prices. Love it!
We decided to give House of Welsh another chance after a bad experience there. The hostess seated us, and our waiter came by ten minutes later to get our drink orders. We had to remind him to get our rolls for us, and they came out slightly burnt. We all ordered steaks, and they were mediocre at best. They were...

Had a great corned beef and cabbage lunch (Saturday, March 16) -- the meat was tender and seasoned just right. The hostess seated us right away, but it took at least 10 minutes before we saw any wait staff. Corned beef meal was served with potatoes and cabbage -- great price for a large tasty portion. Rueben sandwich was very...

First off, there are five different doors in the front of the building, so we had no idea which one to go into until we saw some people come out of one of the doors. The food was awful. The crab cake sandwich that I ordered smelled very fishy, so I didn't even touch it. The green beans tasted old...

The House of Welsh originally was located in downtown Baltimore. The food was great then and stays the same after the move to the beach. The crabcake dinner brought back memories. The wait staff was extremely friendly and outgoing, just like meeting an old friend for dinner. I would recommend the House for the quality of the food, extremely reasonable...

The meal we had a House of Welch in late September was one of the worst restaurant meals I've ever had in any country. The Prime Rib was tough and grilled like a steak, the rolls were burned - really burned, and the green beans had way too much liquid smoke flavor and something sweet in them. Only the drink...

Don't make the mistake to eat at this restaurant and think your getting good food. We went there in October 2012 busy Cruzing weekend at OC for some classic cars and good eats. Believe me this is not the restaurant to waste you money on. We went at there Saturday evening and ordered seafood and chops. Well they were out...
