We stopped by while visiting Cape Coral at the suggestion of some of our relatives. I always take other's reviews with a grain of salt, but this place proved them correct. Excellent pizza - some of the best have ever had. Will definitely mark this place a return destination on our next visit!

I went there with a friend and then had to go back with my boyfriend a few days later! The four-mushroom pizza was so delicious, I had it both times, but also ventured to try the four-cheese on the second go-around. I preferred the mushroom one, but my boyfriend couldn't get enough of the cheese pie. Their pizzas are a... More

Lets face it.... Cape Coral FL will never be Little Itlay and the majority of locals here think Carrabba's is authentic Italian food however if you are searching for wood fired pizza & authentic sauce and ingredients, you'd be lucky to find Ciao! I know personally because I deliver their payroll checks weekly through the back door entrance of the... More

Our first visit to Ciao we loved all the food we ordered. The mushroom soup was rich, creamy and buttery. The 4 cheese pizza was superb. The cheesecake with fresh raspberries was wonderful. The chef and owner, Jill came to our table and was such a sweet, charming, bubbly person. She makes everything 100% fresh from scratch and it is... More

Our small group shared a couple pizzas, which were the best we've had in Florida, & we've tried a lot. True NJ/N.Y taste. We also had salad, mushroom soup, cheese cake & a creampuff. All excellent.

What a pleasant surprise! This wood-fired pizza store is much more than that. The staff greets you as though you were a family member. The table dressing marvelous and cozy. The slight odor of the wood oven only adds to the homeyness atmosphere. The menu reads like a culinary bible of Italian specialities. The food was fresh and delicious and... More

After a few months of driving by this place my wife and I finally stopped in for a visit and boy where we NOT disappointed!! Small, cozy and very friendly, this place is great. The food is as good as it can get in Cape Coral and better than most Italian places "over the bridge". My wife had the lasagna... More

Almost 2 years ago we smelled a great smokey scent coming from the cutest little Italian place- caio and fell in love...so we then not only do we come for the wood fired pizza, but the eggplant rollatini and chicken Marsala made with authentic freshness-again fell in love... So we progress to the desserts, namely the cream puff, the owners... More

The place is like a mom and pop Italian place we use to frequent in my younger days. Its small from the outside. We drove past it twice before noticing it. They have some tables out front for dining alfresco. They make their own pizza dough and the pie's are hand tossed. The owners are very cordial with their guests.... More

I've tried a lot of pizzerias around the states and there are a lot of middle-of-the -road pizza slinging joints out there. Only a handful really stand out as unique and worthy of revisiting. Fricano's in Grand Haven, Michigan, Pizzetta in Kaloa, Hawaii, Giordano's in Chicago (yup, I know they are a chain but they have mastered deep dish pizza)... More
