I do not think the Italian food lived up to my idea of excellent Italian cooking. We had rice balls for an appetizer and they actually tasted awful. The ingredients they used had a bad taste. I had escarole and beans and it was not good either. They were prepared with bits of tomatoes on top and I have never... More

Met up with some old family friends for dinner at D'Angelo Trattoria and were very impressed with the food, decor and service. We ate out on the back patio which was very comfortable and quiet. The Arancini and Beef Carpaccio appetizers were delicious and the Black Squid Ink Pasta Fruitte Mare was very good with the mix of calamari (slightly... More

Noticed this place walking back from dinner, could see that there were lots of people there even though it was not one of the popular places on Atlantic Ave. Walked right up the next night and really enjoyed the meal, one of the best we had in Delray Beach. Since there were only two of us, we enjoyed the appetizers... More

From the appetizer we had meatballs which were unbelievably delicious to my shrimp parmigiana all I can say is excellent. My husband had the osso bucca he's Italian and said it was the best hands down. Our server Kate was fantastic and knowledgable. We had ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Both homemade and yummy. The place is very pretty. A must!!!!

The TV plays a video of an Italian grandma making pasta by hand. However, the risotto was crunchy, more under cooked yellow rice than risotto. I tried to tolerate it enough to justify paying $20 for it. I'd never sent anything back in my life! But I had to. So I got the Rigatoni. In the window of the kitchen,... More

Quite nice. Unhurried. Interesting menu. Good, but a bit over priced, wine list. Nicely decorated. Pleasant patio seating - avoid the front patio unless you like the noise and have people gawking at you. The rear patio is great. Only really weird thing was they gave us a hard time about reservation times but there were empty tables almost all... More

This is a lovely place on Atlantic in Delray Beach. The bread is wonderfully cooked and toasted to start. For our entrees, I enjoyed the salmon piccata which was cooked to perfection. I'd highly recommend it, even though its an italian restaurant. My wife enjoyed the baked ziti, and although she thought it was somewhat small, she did fully enjoy... More

As I do not believe that there are many excellent restaurants in South Florida, this was a great treat. If you are a fan of mussels, these were the best that I have had in a very long time. I don't know where they buy from, but they were large, clean and very tender with a delicious red garlic sauce.... More
