We had a party of seven in May for seafood, an enjoyable evening in a great location, menu is varied with evening specials, food was very good, all were well satisfied.

Walking past the window, we saw a sign for raw oysters as a special. We both enjoy oysters so we went in. They were delicious as an appetizer, and we had a seafood platter for two as our entree. It was all good although we could not eat it all. Our waitress did a great job, and one of the...

As a vendor at the Fernandina Beach Shrimp Festival, finding such a gem of a restaurant was a REAL treat. Stopped by for lunch on Friday.....and it was SO good that we came back after setting up for dinner! Very accomodating service, and the shrimp cakes are to DIE for......huge shrimp in every bite. Would recommend this wonderful "hometown" restaurant...

We enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner. More than we could eat. Good value, good food. Restaurant is on the water front in a historic building.
The food is superb. I loved the shrimp basket and the smo-o-oth grits. The cole slaw and hush puppies are also wonderful. For a very reasonable price under $16.
Ate with friends and the food was very disappointing for non-picky eaters. Crab cakes were very disappointing with little crab meat and more fill. The french fries were not even tasty and the friend fish was mediocre and essentially flavorless. Even the hush puppies were pretty flavorless. everything was just fried.

Yes, they have good broiled seafood, their kitchen really shines with the fried fresh seafood. I have been coming here or many years and have never been disappointed. When we want fancy, beach...

EXCELLENT seafood platter for 2. PLENTY of food. Shrimp was so fresh and good, great grouper, oysters clams and FABULOUS crab cake!! Not greasy, as mama bear says "Just right"!! Not fancy, on vacation, come as you are. Comfortable, warm, cozy. We lucked up on this place and will be back. Thanks for a great evening.
This restaurant had excellent service during the busy lunch rush. We never lacked for anything! The southern food was awesome, especially the daily "puff"!
We hesitated to try this restaurant based on some of the reviews but were very glad we did. This is a basic family seafood restaurant, with the kind of décor you would expect in an older restaurant. The staff is very friendly and we were served promptly. There is only a limited beer and wine menu but I tried the...
