if you are visiting downtown hollywood after midnight, this is the best food you will have, the cook does it to order, dont be in a hurry though, if you are you ain't getting it lol
Right on Hollywood Blvd - you can't miss it. We had parked at the garage nearby, and the young lady working there recommended it. Said that is where she eats all the time. Ok - it didn't look like much from the outside, and we were there on a weeknight so there was only 1 other group there. We stood... More
I had the steak burrito for lunch over the weekend!!! The atmosphere the food was very nice. I had there homemade sauce with the chips tasted amazing!!! I am definitely going back!!!!
In an area surrounded by amazing restaurants, I had decent service and delicious enchiladas suizas. The next three days of stomach flu, however, convinced me to stick to Orale across the street for Downtown Hollywood Mexican fare.
The food is OK and they serve until 4 AM so we find ourselves visiting when are looking of some late night/early morning mexican. Located right in the heart of Hollywood Blvd so good people watching from the outdoor sitting area.
This restaurant is next to a large noisy typical Hollywood bar, but the restaurant has some indoor seating and the food is really good for Florida Mexican food. The food was good but service not so much. When my husband asked for water he got a bottle of it and we were charged. Then when I asked for a glass of tap water...I was snubbed but they brought me one in a styrophome cup. We stayed in the area for 3 nights and would not go back there!
The only reason we went was because of a restaurant.com coupon. The service was super slow and the food is not good at all. The only part that actually wasn't bad was the drinks from next door!! Which are actually on a separate check from Takitos.. If you have a coupon go, if you don't have a coupon don't go!!!
Service was slow, food was passable at best & served on paper plates! Only stayed because we had a coupon from restaurant.com & felt obligated to use it. Orale Mexican Restaurant just up the street is by far the better choice!
Not a very fancy place and no hard liquor, just beer and wine, but there is a bar next door. Service can be spotty. Never crowded. Mexican food like mama used to fix. Very good street style tacos. Sangria was nothing to write home about. Soft drinks are in cans so no refills. Stick with the beer. We'll be going... More
