I honestly believe they trade on fame of being around for so long, their sauce is straight tomato out of a can.

I'm been coming to Nick's restaurant for many years and have enjoyed it very much. The best feature I liked was the "early bird' menu which used to run from 4:30PM to 6:00PM. It's also nice to get ahead of the "crowd" and really enjoyed the smaller portions There were approx 10 entrees on the early bird menu with prices...

I enjoyed the decor of the restaurant and the wait staff was very accommodating , bot the food was average. The best thing was the fresh roasted garlic and the Italian bread. Portions were generous, but not exceptionally tasty. We had fried calamari, which was not a greasy (which was good) but also not very flavorful. The accompanying marinara sauce...

My companion and I wern't very hungry but the atmosphere and decor whetted our appitite, We ha he clams casino and little necks on he half shll and they hit the spot, want o go back again and sample more of their dishes.
Okay this was high season and I could expect a crowd. But that also told me that this was a place to go. Everyone knew everyone in there the customers, waiters, bartenders. The food was as I remember my friends Grandmother in Syracuse making. Good, good doesn't begin to describe the complete experience at Nick's. Good wine list, Knowledgeable wait...

I have no idea how the restaurant gets any good reviews or repeat business. This is absolutely the worst Italian food I have ever had. Taste straight out of the can - flavorless. None of us are our food or took any home. There are so many good restaurants don't make the mistake of eating here.
Over priced olive oil, flour and tomato products. The location is convenient to I 95 and Home Depot. You are just as well off with a can of Chef Boyardee
Yet another south Florida restaurant in a strip mall on a busy road. Formulaic Italian. No surprises here. Food was so-so. Pasta was soggy. Nothing memorable. Noisy but friendly.
We ordered the signature item "tomato pie" pizza. The center of the crust was soggy and the outside was burned. There were flecks of black char all over the crust. Most of the tables were filled so obviously some people must like it. We were seated in the back room next to the service area which needed cleaning. The salt,...

Used to be good - even noticeably better a year ago - now, the (extra charge) sausage served swimming in marinara sauce (accompanying pasta with aglio/olivo clear sauce!!!!) was absolutely tasteless, as was the aglio/olivo sauce on the pasta. Baked Ziti a congealed mess. Tiramisu ordered for the table - all 6 sampled, then left over half of it uneaten...
