Well, I am Italian and I know how Italian food tastes...this is exactly what I found at Amami. We had fish the first night (which was perfectly cooked and tasted like the one I usually eat in Sicily) and I also had the gnocchi on my second visit, which were cooked like they usually do in Sorrento! The bread they... More

First of all, I'm Italian and very critical with Italian restaurants abroad. In my family we've always had a tradition for good food. And I hardly ever write a review, I just don't bother. But I feel I have to give Amami a big thumb up for the dinner I had last week with family and friends. I highly recommend... More

Let me start this by saying I had a groupon for this place, so maybe my experience is worse than everyone else's based on this. The groupon was for 2 pasta's, a bottle of wine, and a dessert duo. We arrived here at 7:30 on a Saturday night. There was only 2 other tables taken. The waiter came, and we... More

dear Sherry, let me start by saying that many reviews are based on excellent groupon experiences, therefore the fact that you had a groupon doesn't make any difference. We perfectly remember you and your boyfriend, when you left at the end of the dinner you told us that everything was perfect and wonderful, and now we read this review. This... More

Decided to drop in but didn't realize it was still technically on the "restaurant row" type street. The pasta was pretty good but the rest of the menu (salads/apps) were a little bit too aggressive and fell flat.

A couple of months ago, I received an offer for this restaurant and this is how I knew of its existence. I decided to buy the deal – I figured that if it turned out not to be good I would not lose a lot of money. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by how fine the... More

Situated in a quiet street in the middle of South Beach, this small restaurant offers superb italian food. We were served by a Milan native who was just as perfect as the food. Cozy ambiance, good wine (private import) and all around attention to detail. Expect a total cost around 50$ per person, tax and tip included. Well worth it.

The food is amazing. You do not forget the desert. The panacota and the tiramisu are amazing. A must in Miami Beach!
